At the Chamber Coffee on November 7, in the Landmark Bank lobby (formerly Citizens), FSACF chairperson Carla Farmer awarded representatives of the following 11 charitable organizations funds for the 2013 granting cycle:
- The Beacon, Inc. to add fresh produce to non-perishable staples.
- Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters (Bourbon County chapter) to recruit more “Bigs.”
- Fort Scott Middle School for Interscholastic Sports uniforms to wear at home games.
- Care to Share Cancer Support Group of Bourbon County for gas vouchers.
- Bourbon County Inter-Agency Coalition, Inc. for rent and utility assistance.
- Fort Scott First United Methodist Church for Feeding Families in His Name weekly free meals.
- City of Fort Scott (Youth Activities Team) for Ellis Park walking trail infra-red counter.
- Bourbon County CASA to increase child advocates.
- American Red Cross (Bourbon County chapter) for disaster relocation of Bourbon County families.
- Lowell Milken Center to create a World War I exhibit.
- Youth Ministries of Bourbon County (Key Hole) for Fifth Quarter parties targeting High School students.
