FSACF hosts a competitive-grant cycle in August during which eligible organizations can apply for funding for their charitable programs and projects.
The Community Foundation can also hold and invest other nonprofits’ own money for their own later use.
FSACF is also home to several other types of charitable funds that can help local eligible organizations. These include donor-advised funds, designated funds, and field-of-interest funds. Donors considering major gifts often value the additional layer of oversight afforded by a fund at the Community Foundation. Eligible organizations should encourage their donors to consider establishing such funds.
