The Fort Scott Area Community Foundation (FSACF) is excited to announce that FSACF grant applications for 2024 are now open! Our competitive grant applications are available until August 31.
For 2024, up to $87,348 will be available to fund charitable projects in Bourbon County, including $28,579 for healthcare-related requests and $58,769 for others.
Last year, FSACF awarded $42,117 to 19 nonprofit organizations for 26 projects through its competitive-grant process. Awards ranged from $500 to $3,400, with a median of $1,500. Since 2009, FSACF has granted $386,493 during its grant cycle over 221 grants to charitable projects in Fort Scott and across Bourbon County. The Fort Scott Area Community Foundation is an affiliate of the Community Foundation of Southeast Kansas (CFSEK). FSACF’s mission is to partner with and be a resource to organizations whose goal is to improve the quality of life in the Fort Scott area.
